Home again for a 3 week period before our 6 week trip to northern England including Scotland. We're trying to get the garden weeds under control and paint the outside of the bungalow. The paint was on special offer from Lidl so that will do ok but during my first session of weeding on my hands and knees my back gave way leaving me in agony for 4 days. This meant Di had to do at lot more, not a good idea as her back and hips are also suspect. Fortunately the weather changed and we have a chance to rest!
Yesterday Sunday 25th May Jo and the children came to lunch.
By special request from the boys we had roast pork. Matthew tried roast potatoes for the first time and enjoyed them!
Timmy was his usual boisterous self frightening Matthew and Jessica but he eventually calmed enough for her to get close without getting licked or scratched.
