WEDNESDAY - BUDLEIGH SALTERTON

Today was just too hot for much of a walk with Tim panting most of the way. We asked a local if dogs were allowed on the beach as notices forbid it but we could see many having a wonderful time in the sea. It appeared that they were allowed on the extreme ends of the beach so fair game we joined in!

Tim took to it like a proverbial duck to water, following a Labrador into the sea like he's swum all his life whereas this was only the second time and certainly the first time in the sea.

We were both ready to wade into the sea to rescue him if he got into difficulty- no chance with being such a mean swimmer. After a couple of quick shakes we were off again for a look at the few shops, such as they are, in the high street. Certainly now't of interest to me!
Back at the MH we used the outside shower to rinse the saltwater off Tim to prevent any itching.
Later I did a stir-fry on the Cadac cooker outside the MH. I think it took longer to set up than to cook! Seems a good alternative to the traditional BBQ, definitely man's cooking!
