We set off from Durham just after 9am in the rain (yet again) and arrived at 1.15pm, a journey of just under 200 miles. It's a large site, the nearest village is Drummore on the Rhins of Galloway Peninsular- a dangly bit hanging down towards the Isle of Man. It's so quiet after the last site at Durham but we have a gobby 3 year old girl in the next caravan with her grandparents- nothing is ever perfect!
The beach is about 50 yards from the MH and dogs are allowed. There's lots of stones to throw for Tim but he seems to have no idea of locating them or bring them back. We'll try a ball today.
It's just before 9am bright and sunny with a little cloud and 17C in the shade. Internet on Voda is strong 5 out of 5 bars but only GPRS not 3G+ so a bit slow.
We're having a day on site today.
