TIMMY'S BEST DAY

We woke to bright sunshine, what a welcome change from the past week! The three of us agreed to go to the nearest beach, Perranporth, complete with the much favoured ball on a rope. The car park was overcrowded but we managed to get a space then walked a couple of hundred yards to the beach. As you can see from the photos it stretched as far as the eye can see, about 3 miles of golden sand. There were people everywhere, some with dogs, some with kids, some with kites, and a lot in the sea surfing- brrrr!
Tim had a session with the ball on a rope but has no idea of dropping it on command. As far as he is concerned the game is shaking it as hard as he can with me on the other end. I did manage to get it a few times and throw it but he’s so intent on getting it that sometimes he just doesn’t see the ball in the air and I have to retrieve it -woof!
We then had a stroll, game over was declared, then he found a real friend, a Labradoodle pup. They ran and played for about 20 minutes before becoming absolutely whacked. Back at the car Tim drank gallons and flopped on the back seat while we drove back to the MH.
It was then time to rest while we had a cuppa! What a perfect dog’s day!
