Yesterday we arrived at a CL (5 van site) near Cirencester just after lunch having stopped at the MH dealer in Wellington for a replacement surge suppressor on the water system. That was a total waste of time and effort as the person I spoke to on the phone on Friday hadn't brought the item to the accessories shop. I shall be having words with him today!
The site is very well kept with friendly owners and the pitches are all proper hard standings in what appears to be part of their garden. No shower block or anything other than a tap for fresh water and disposal facilities, plus an information hut. It is unfortunately next to a road with traffic, not a lot but much more than we are used to at home. It was surprisingly quiet last night.
Tim is in his element as he spotted rabbits. For dog walking there's a large field which is sometimes used for caravan rallies, fortunately not at the moment.
It was so hot and humid that we just relaxed and chatted to the owner and some of the others on site.
I'll try to take a photo later but light rain at the moment.
