BROCKENHURST

Once again we are on the Caravan Club site near Brockenhurst in the New Forest (nearest big town is Southampton). I must admit this is one of our favourites which we seem to frequent at the start and end of the season. The leaves are just beginning to change colour on the trees but the weather is still holding fine and dry so little sign of autumn yet.
We arrived on Sunday, 2 days ago, with quite a few other caravans and managed to get a reasonable pitch with hard standing. Had we been just half an hour later we would have been on grass in the middle of the site- not desirable for us.
Tim recognised Lyndhurst when we were passing through on Sunday. He normally sleeps the whole time we're travelling but this time he gave a bark and jumped off his bed. Unfortunately he was restrained by the harness, ie left dangling! Di then had to get out of her seat to release him. Fortunately we were stopped in a traffic queue at the time.
That's about it for now- having a lazy day today.
