Today we 'did' Salisbury! It started very misty and brightened into a fine hot day. Unfortunately we were both dressed for rain so were a trifle overheated. Photo left shows a very tame owl on one of the stalls near the open air market. It is a South African spotted eagle owl, apparently.
Tim and the owl took an instant dislike to each other with Tim growling and the owl staring and fluffing up its feathers.
By mid afternoon we were both 'shopped out' so returned to the site for a cuppa and a rest but Tim still needed his afternoon walk on the common- lucky me! We found some dogs for him to chase resulting in a very tired Timmy, hence photo right.
