DUNKERY BEACON

Here we go again with the travelogue- Dunkery Beacon is 1705 feet above sea level and is the highest point on Exmoor.
This was a landmark for Di as last year I said she couldn't make it to the top! We plodded up the rough path hanging onto each other and were rewarded with fantastic panoramic views from the top. Photo right was the route back down to the car park which can be seen in the distance.
For more details on Dunkery Beacon see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunkery_Beacon
ps Predictably Di suffered a lot of aches and pains the following day.
