OUR LAST TRIP THIS YEAR

It's time to head for home for the winter. We set off along the Exe valley and were hit by a fast moving white van going in the opposite direction, resulting in yet another wing mirror damaged. This time I managed to hang on to the reflective element which was swinging on the heater wires, until I could stop to inspect and try to make temporary repairs. The reflective element went back into the motor assembly but the rear plastic and lens over the indicator repeater were cracked. We proceeded home, very annoyed knowing that the damage would cost us £250 for a replacement mirror.
