CIRENCESTER

As they say "the best laid plans of mice and men". We cancelled the trip as we were unable to get the MH onto the road outside our bungalow with snow and ice on the hill. Temperatures were -5C, not exactly ideal for spending a lot of time outdoors. So we spent Christmas day on our own, just having a quiet time and waiting for the snow and ice to melt ready for PLAN B. That was to go to a hotel in Cirencester for the two days we had arranged to meet Rich and Emm.
Fortunately, it cleared by Tuesday and we were able to get to Cirencester to the Corinium Hotel for our two day break. http://www.coriniumhotel.com/
Sadly being a lot higher than South Devon the snow had not melted as much so was still treacherous under foot. Today we had a stroll around the town; Di lost her footing and crashed onto the pavement. We don't think she has any breakages but is very sore on her right hip and arm.
We had a superb meal last night and a few (too many) drinks.
