Winter has gone, officially, according to us and it's now the caravanning (motorhome) season which finds us at Haycraft Lane Caravan Club site between Corfe Castle and Swanage. We arrived yesterday in sunlight, which lasted all day and that's a first for this year! Our pitch is on a lofty terrace, the only disadvantage being lugging water up the slope. Good exercise, I need to lose a bit of winter flab! As the sun decided to shine all day we took advantage by sitting out for most of the day, quite surprising for March. We had a bit of a disaster in the MH with patches of black grease on the carpets, brought in on Di's shoes. It had obviously dropped off someones caravan onto the stones of the hard standing and hence to Di's shoes. I first tried washing up liquid to no avail, then remembered that WD40 removes almost anything greasy or sticky. It worked a treat. I then went over the area with washing up liquid to remove traces of the WD40. Job done, back to sitting in the sun!
