WE'RE IN THE LAKES

Well, not literally 'in the lakes',  but in the Lake District of Cumbria, near Penrith on a CC site! We decided to stay an extra day on the previous site, to recover from the wedding and prepare for the journey, about 150 miles north.
The site is called Troutbeck Head, the beck (small stream) runs along the bottom of the site. It was a small stream when we arrived, but it hasn't really stopped raining for days, so it's now a raging torrent! The pitch we picked, or rather where we found ourselves, is within yards of the beck, overlooking a farm and the hills as a backdrop.
I'll try to post some more pics later, but the Internet is dismally slow and unreliable on both networks we've tried.
