RHOSSILI

A trip to south Wales would not be complete without going to Rhossili, on the Gower Peninsular, with 3 miles of golden sand stretching into the distance. In a recent, televised competition this was voted the best view in the British Isles. The two sheep also seemed to be enjoying the view!
The other photos below are Worm's Head with sea mist giving a ghostly appearance. The name is derived from the Norse 'wurm', meaning dragon, as the shape (when not shrouded in mist!), resembles one. Providing the tide is low it's possible to walk there, but that looked a step too far for me!

Amazing photos of a beautiful place. I think I need to go there when we retire. My husband's family is from England and Scotland and mine are from Hungary so we definitely have one European trip in us yet. :)
