Yup, that's me - now don't laugh! Yesterday, I took Timmy for his usual early evening walk on the common and could see a herd of deer in the distance. As I didn't have a camera, we returned to the MH and I set off again without Timmy.
I managed to get about 500 yards away from them, then very quietly dodged behind bushes to get closer. Unfortunately, the wind was behind me, so I skirted to the right and found the fawn in the undergrowth, before I broke cover to get the other photos.
My camera only has a 5X zoom which was not enough to isolate the deer so, with cropping, the quality isn't quite up to my usual standard. For photographers, on the last photo the light was fading fast, so I increased speed to 3200ASA, possibly made it just a bit too grainy.

Lovely shots - that one buck has quite a rack on him! I really like the one of the entire herd - such a large group and you were fortunate to capture it like that. The light is perfect. It was a great photography day for you!
