ROOKESBURY PARK

Rookesbury Park Caravan Club site is near Fareham close to the South Coast. The nearest city is Portsmouth. We arrived on Sunday, a few days ago, and expected or rather hoped for sunshine- no chance!
Enough said about the weather, Timmy loves this place as there are rabbits to watch and a superbly large field for dogs to play off lead!
Yesterday we had a drama on site with a dog accidentally locked in a car. Fortunately, the sun wasn't out but it was quite warm. The owners covered the car with blankets and a tarpaulin while the AA roadside assistance arrived to break into the car. It was amazing to watch the man open the door by pushing two wedges into the top of the door to create a gap for a length of stiff wire to to operate the internal door handle. It must have taken all of 30 seconds! It really makes you wonder why we bother to lock cars if it's that easy.

There's no need to make to make my bed, I've already done it!!!!!!!!!
