This is our long trip, 6 weeks away, touring Scotland. Our first site in Scotland is about 600 miles from home, so we are making 2 overnight stops to split the journey into 3 days. This way we drive 200 miles in the morning and enjoy a relaxing afternoon and evening.
Out first stop was at Great Malvern and our second near Carlisle, which is where I'm doing this blog.
So far the weather has been exceptionally fine but the forecast isn't good.
This is Englethwaite Hall Caravan Club site, our second stopover. It's in the grounds of a long since demolished stately home, possibly one of the best kept sites.
We never seem to have had time to take a photo of the car attached to the MH as it always happens in a restricted area, however this opportunity presented itself.
