Yesterday we moved site from Inverness to Killin. On route we were suddenly stopped by the police as it had been reported that the car didn't seem a very secure tow! The friendly policeman said he had followed us for a few miles but could see nothing wrong. We both checked everything, had a friendly chat and went on our way.
The roads were absolutely appalling with unavoidable deep potholes. We had to stop twice to re-tighten the screws holding the oven door as they had worked loose!
The site is a Caravan Club minimal facility one without a toilet block, just water and emptying facilities. We chose a pitch backing onto woodland furthest away from the main road running past the site. Last evening Di spotted four deer and, as someone once told us, "one of the deer had stags on his head". I don't think we'll ever forget that one!
