I decided to make an amateur radio transmitter/receiver from a kit sold by the Milton Keynes Amateur Radio Society to fulfill the need to actually make something. It's a very simple design but even so has 350 individual components and requires a magnifier to solder the components. I guess I'm averaging about 10 items per day, so yes, long term I reckon!
We're also preparing for our next trip away on Sunday to Tintagel, North Cornwall.
