Our neighbour Jean arrived at lunch time with a fantastic strawberry and raspberry Pavlova. It's truly massive! We've had to scale down our planned evening meal to do it justice!
The week seems to have flown by- The garden has been sorted by employing a husband and wife team who attend to others in the village. I've been constructing the low power transmitter/receiver kit which now actually works on receive but transmit is a risk too far until I hear from the manufacturers of my pacemaker. I don't honestly think it will be a problem but I'm being cautious!
Since I joined Facebook a week or so ago it seems to take a lot of time making and replying to comments- generally good fun.
Very hot and sunny today with clear blue sky 22C in the shade and a light breeze. Shame we're not away in the MH but hey we're ALIVE!
We managed to eat half the Pavlova after a light evening meal- It was fantastic but am I full!!!!
