HURRICANE BILL

Too true the weather can't last as the tail end of hurricane Bill hit us early morning. Dogs have to do what dogs have to do so we had to get wet, no, very wet! We saw the forecast last night and took evasive action by storing my wellington boots just inside the door. Next problem drying clothes!

It is supposed to clear a little after lunch- we're holding our breath.

Update----True to form, it cleared so we went out for a ramble in the car to Wigtown (pronounced Wigtoon!). A weird little town with loads of bookshops and little else. After that we took a very minor road north along the estuary but it wasn't close enough to get a good view. Finally we were just about lost so I chickened out and used the sat-nav to get us back to the site.
