ROBIN HOOD'S BAY & SCARBOROUGH

Another superb sunny day without a cloud in the sky- this can't last!
Robin Hood's bay north of Scarborough was our destination today. It was a long walk for Di from the car park down a narrow hilly street to the beach. Timmy was in his element as there were stones he could try to fetch from the pools. Border Terriers are not supposed to like swimming, perhaps no-one told him!

We then went onto Scarborough, a large seaside town with all the attractions a family or young persons could want. The beach had acres of sand complete with acres of bare flesh burning in the sun! We walked along the promenade 'marvelling' at the fish & chip shops, bingo and amusement arcades and cheapy shops! Nevertheless we did buy some folding stools for the car and an ice cream which was very good.
In the evening we had a BBQ and so to bed after a perfect day.
