DULVERTON

Last Sunday we set off quite late at 10am, heading for Dulverton on Exmoor. The site only accepts admissions after 1pm. Di had a preferred pitch remembered from our previous visits but it was taken so we chose the one next to it. Almost as good but loses the sun just a bit earlier.

The site is just on the edge of the town within easy walking distance to the shops and a very good chippy which we sampled last night!

Unfortunately there’s no internet available as O2 and Vodaphone are unavailable. Voda is just usable for texts, if you are patient! Fortunately we also have Orange sim cards which do work for phone comms. So internet activity and posting will be restricted to places other than the site.

Yesterday we drove 15 miles south to Tiverton, not a lot there, the shopping centre seems to be spread out over several streets. Not a problem for a seasoned shopper like Di!
