Having kept our heads down for 2 days behind a hedge, while the tail of hurricane Katya passed over,today we've moved about 90 miles south east to central Lancashire (nearest big town is Preston). This is our 3rd attempt to visit this area and this time we've found a superb 5 van adult only CL in the Forest of Bowland, an area of outstanding natural beauty. I hope to post some photos later, internet permitting as no mobile phones seem to work here!
I managed to grab this shot of our pitch as we were leaving Troutbeck with the rainbow promising better weather. Don't believe it, it's been raining cats and dogs ever since!
