Close to our site was Beacon Fell Country Park. As usual, we set off following a waymarked trail and as usual, the signs disappeared after a short distance! However, although we walked further than we intended, the views made it worthwhile. Timmy insisted on having an ice cream as a reward when we finally found the car park!
