Once again we're in Glastonbury, our first trip this year. Photo above with busker seems to happen every 100 yards. Lousy singing and 'perfume' from the magic shops is everywhere. Someone said it was joss sticks but I have nooooo idea what else it could be! This IS Glastonbury and it doesn't change! It's an experience and we like it!
Yesterday we made a decision to trade in the present motorhome as Di couldn't manage to get to the lockers without clambering over the beds and don't mention the incredibly small bathroom. It's been called the cupboard! An expensive mistake as we only bought it last June but it's no good if it doesn't work for us.
The next one has a similar layout to the one before this one- we know that works for us!
Now this guy seems to have escaped from Glasto' and we found him in Wells! He was actually quite good and really looks like a folk singer. (Grab shot from inside a shop across the street.)
Last night storm Katie made landfall across southern England. We expected strong wind but this was something else! At 4am Di looked out through the windscreen to see the site outside. Nothing strange about that except it should have been covered with the insulating screens. I dashed out in my PJ's (damn, it was lashing down with rain) to retrieve them from the roof and bundle them into the car boot. Back inside, strip off into dry PJ's and clamber back into bed only to be joined by Timmy who was frightened. Next day, time to assess the damage. Fortunately none, we live to fight another day (storm) !
