Today we got up early, made a packed lunch then set off for Keswick about 35 miles away. Weather wise it was pretty good for a change, OK for Tim and I to lurk outside shops in Keswick while Di dodged in and out. A pair of shoes magically appeared!We finished with the shops, had lunch in the car then a walk along the lakeside taking in the spectacular views before the rain, once again, descended.
Back in the car we headed for Ullswater but changed our mind, headed back past Keswick to look at
a Caravan Club site at Dockray Meadow. It was a very nice site but a bit remote from the Lake District.
