On Wednesday (3 days ago) we moved to Wharfedale C.C.Site, Grassington about 95 miles south west, in the Yorkshire Dales. The nearest town is Skipton. As is our usual practice, we didn't do a lot on our day of arrival but went to Skipton yesterday to sample the open market- a favourite of Di's!
The weather was really hot, probably the hottest day this year- Tim and I shade skulked as usual!
The Yorkshire Regiment had just returned from duty in Afghanistan and paraded in the street with fixed bayonets marching to the band of the Ghurkas. Tim hated the drums!
