TBO STOP #2 TOP LODGE, STAMFORD

Yesterday we left Top Lodge caravan site near Stamford to go to Hawthorn Lane, Sutton on Sea on the Lincolnshire coast. So what happened at Top Lodge? Well, not an awful lot other than Di managed a 2 mile walk in her new walking sandals & an over excited Timmy fell out of the car and grazed his top and bottom lips! He now has 2 red patches on a black muzzle, now definitely not a show dog!
This was his favourite camp site with squirrels and rabbits running everywhere. Very strange, as this one had no tail at all and a few others had varying lengths or just a stump.  We wondered if it was some sort of genetic defect.
On amateur radio, I managed some good contacts with my friend Dave in Zakynthos, in the Greek Islands.

This is Tim, being very patient, quite unusual, while a squirrel appears to be saying "yah boo you can't get me"!

We went to Oakham, where I took the photo of the square. You really didn't want to see yet another photo of a high street? When you've seen one you've seen them all!

Finally, Rutland Water, a man made reservoir, where we had a ramble (and an ice-cream!). It is one of the largest artificial lakes in Europe see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rutland_Water
