This is the start of our 5 week trip around mid-east England. Yesterday we travelled from an overnight stop in Birmingham to this site near Stamford in Lincolnshire. The site is in a forested area, with entertainment for Timmy in the form of RABBITS AND SQUIRRELS which, yet again, he spends all day watching!
Our pitch has a considerable slope, a problem for us as we do like to be level. I tried to run the MH up our levelling ramps but skidded on the gravel - have a run at it I thought, with some welly! The net result was I overshot the ramps, breaking off the top section of each & entertaining all those passing by! They're still serviceable but the top level may be a bit of a problem unless I can tack something back on, still thinking about that one!
Disasters always come in threes, that was the first, then I discovered the actuating lever for the waste tank dump valve wasn't engaging and finally the fresh water filler cap was residing in Birmingham! Thank you sod's law, now pester someone else!
