Quite a lot has happened. We stopped over at Brum for one night and journeyed on north the following day to the site at Hutton-le-hole (Hutton-le-Hole CL Caravan Site, Church View)
Lovely little village but a god awful CL site with our pitch overlooking a load of rusty farm machinery and crappy industrial units.

No way - not having that for 2 weeks so we investigated a commercial site (Westfield Lodge) we had seen on the way in and guess what, we left the horrible site! The original crappy one had no mobile phone signal or internet, whereas we now have everything on a peaceful full facility site. We lost the  deposit of £70, gulp! On the plus side the new site was less expensive than the crappy one!  What price happiness, priceless.

We liked the site so much that we added an extra 2 days. The dog walk was one and a half miles, Timmy loved it! There were pigs in a pen with instructions for the visitors to feed them leftovers. Timmy grew to like them, even tried to bite an ear poking through the fencing!
Our immediate neighbours were the site wardens, Amanda and Craig, with 2 golden retrievers, 2 house cats which we never saw as they were 'house' cats and 3 kittens rescued from the farm.
Timmy spent a whole day just watching them jumping around in their cage.
Kittens are now his favourites!

Di's Brother Alan and Margaret visited us for the day-we went to the Crown Inn, had a good lunch.
Di's sister also visited but it was a rainy day and I didn't have the camera for some reason which escapes me!

And so to bed, my bed!
